[Note]: - When a touchscreen and a mouse are enabled/connected to the touch-capable DELL OptiPlex 9020 AIO station, the test page incorrectly displays the results of the media query. [Affected versions]: - v64.0a1 [Affected platforms]: - Windows [Steps to reproduce]: Precondition 1: Enable the touch-screen of the touch-screen capable device (like Microsoft Surface), tutorial here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028019/windows-enable-and-disable-your-touchscreen-in-windows-10 Precontition 2: Disconnect any pointing device. 1. Lunch the browser and open page: https://hiikezoe.github.io/interaction-media-features.html 2. Connect the mouse to the device. [Expected result]: - Info displayed on page: pointer: coarse any-pointer: fine any-pointer: coarse hover: none any-hover: hover [Actual result]: - Info displayed on page: pointer: coarse any-pointer: coarse hover: none any-hover: none [Additional notes]: - This issue does not occur in the case of the Microsoft Surface tablet. - The touchscreen "device" is differently recognized in the device manager, compared to the Microsoft Surface tablet. - The mouse is properly detected when it is the only pointing device connected/enabled and so is the touchscreen.

This is apparently a side effect of bug 1493128. As of now I have no idea how we can tell whether the touchscreen is recognized as a mouse or not on various systems.

Oh, I thought I might have set the wrong blocking bug, but I am seeing that you modified it like that. Putting it back. :)

As discussed on Slack, updating summary. Adding Dell- xps12-9Q33 -- (device with touchscreen, touchpad, mouse) as an affected device. Issue on both 64.0b5 and 65.0a1(2018-11-01): - plugging/unpluging the mouse does not update the queries.

Tested this on a Microsoft Surface, and as expected it was fixed in Bug 1813979.
