Details
go with a xlib port of Mozilla on the 1.0 credits.
You'll see the scroll effect only if you move the mouse inside the black screen.
Stop moving the scroll stop

works for me on build 2002-06-12-08-trunk on Red Hat Linux, what build are you
using?

That page it outdated (incl. the build instructions, use "configure
--enable-default-toolkit=xlib; gmake # in a clean tree or seperate, clean objdir
to build the Xlib port) ... ;-(

WFM with trunk 2002073022, linux. reporter (David Olivari): can you reproduce
this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please
comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
