From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529
BuildID: 2002052918
All of the window's contents (everything that is below the window's title bar,
including toolbars, the page itself and the status bar) go blank when clicking
the Maximize window widget (third circle from left to right in the window's
title bar (x)(-)==>(+)<== ). Sometimes the toolbar's background color can be
seen, depending on the theme. See Steps to Reproduce.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new window
2. Click on the maximize button (+) once
3. Click on the resize window widget (located at the bottom right corner of a
window) once (DON'T DRAG, JUST CLICK ON IT *ONCE*)
Actual Results: All of the window's contents (everything that is below the
window's title bar, including toolbars, the page itself and the status bar) go
blank when clicking the Maximize window widget (third circle from left to right
in the window's title bar (x)(-)==>(+)<== ). Sometimes the toolbar's background
color can be seen, depending on the theme. The rest is white. Also Mozilla
doesn't go back to its default window size, it stays in the resized size.
Expected Results: Mozilla should go back to its default window size
(unchangable in any preferences as far as I know) and update the window's contents.
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR: If you move and resize the window and then hit the max.
button, the window will go back and forth between the current position and the
default window position (left side/title bar/dock/and a space on the right side).
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR: If you click on the resize widget, the window will expand one
pixel down and one pixel to the right. I don't know if this is actually a feature.
In this case we don't move the window, we only barely resize the window one
pixel down and one pixel right. Mozilla has a problem updating the window's
contents (toolbar included) given that the resizing performed was very small. If
you resize the window more than 6 pixels, Mozilla doesn't have a problem
updating the window's contents. So this problem occurs when clicking the
resizing widget between 1 and 5 times.
SETUP INFORMATION:
Hardware: iMac slot-loading (blueberry), PowerPC G3, 350 MHz, 192 MB RAM
System: Mac OS X 10.1.5 build 5S60 (official release)
WorksForMe using FizzillaCFM/2002052918 (rv1.0.0). Window contents remain visible.
cantusvetustus, can you reproduce this problem using a new Mozilla user profile?

First, let me say something I hadn't noticed before. Whether the actual web page
goes blank depends on the web page itself. For example www.apple.com goes blank,
but www.microsoft.com doesn't. Some times if you click the max. button more than
once a page will go blank. It highly depends on the web site.
On the other hand the toolbar and status bar will always dissapear (with
background color visible). Buttons will reappear if you hover the mouse over them.
Greg: I did try with a new profile, with exactly the same effect as with my
other profile.
I can reproduce this problem as well with build 2002060803. It seems to only
effect the themed portion of a window and not the rendered content. Fresh
profile with "classic" theme.
Ah, I see. I'll do it.

I can still produce this with a fresh profile with 2002070103.
(making the previous screen dump obsolete)

i see this with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1)
Gecko/20020826. clicking Maximize causes the window to become a one-pixel-wide
line, actually. somehow, just by clicking and dragging it in various ways, i've
been able to get it back to a useable state. unfortunately, sometimes, it will
Maximize itself such that the Title Bar is offscreen. Moz doesn't seem to have
enough window options to correct that (i.e., there's no way to drag it back
onscreen).
this is under Jaguar, btw.
