The Android 7.0 x86 test platform runs tests in a modern (27.3.10) Android emulator running Android 7.0, all running on packet.net, to enable kvm acceleration. Tests run much, much faster than on the much older Android 4.3 or Android 4.2 aws-based test platforms. This platform was stood up for the geckoview team and most tests run in the geckoview TestRunnerActivity, org.mozilla.geckoview.test. :snorp is a good contact. A variety of familiar test suites currently run as tier 3 tasks. Some of these are reliably green and can now be run as tier 1.

With :jchen's recent fix, crashtest is running green. Intermittents usually seen on mochitest-cl appear to have resolved also; I don't know why/how.
