On linux when I open https://gruntjs.com in RDM with enabling apz.allow_zooming, the site is shrunk to some extent (after reload the site in RDM), but on Windows it's never shrunk. Attaching file contains a reftest to confirm this issue. And here is a try with the reftest; https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try&revision=b3ba12eaa59098d9f8b3af693b24be84b8f16550 Interestingly the reftest passes on reftest-no-accel and reftest-gpu.

There is a lot about apz.allow_zooming that's broken on desktop. I'm not surprised that RDM is one of them.

I've compared linux/windows with and without apz.allow_zooming and can't spot any differences.
I'll mark this as resolved "worksforme".
