Steps to reproduce:

FF is slow after update, slow to load images on websites, slow to press button, etc Here is example:

Let's go to website https://www.marinaratimer.com/
If i press button restart in Chrome it restarts instantly, video:

If i do same in FF there is delay:

it was never like that before, same for everything.

I can't reproduce any slowness with Firefox63 and Firefox65 on Windows10.

Can you please attach via the "attach File" link in this report page the output of about:support (or Menü->Help->Troubleshoot information) ?

Can you please also create an additional test profile and look if the new profile makes the problem go away ?

hi, does it make a difference when you set the network settings under the menu ≡ > options > general panel to "no proxy"? (that needs a restart to take effect)
i'm assuming this might be the same issue as bug 1495024

Just gave it a try and indeed Firefox is snappy again.
