In the old legacy addons days, the blocklist got support for resetting preferences that were changed by a blocked extension. Since webextensions don't have this problem (extensions can change a limited set of preferences but we ensure that those changes are reverted when the extension is disabled by any means) we can save a bit of code and some test cycles by removing this feature from the client-side blocklist implementation.
