User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 Steps to reproduce: create a new mail with "hello" text folowed by "link to Google" text than insert a link on this last text "link to Google" from the Thunderbird menu than press space and write something else after the link. Actual results: The text after press space near the link continue to be a link and not a normal text Expected results: When link is created text after a space should be not a link.

confirmed - I have noticed this in the last few days using 60.3.1. Don't knwo when it regressed

Old hat, bug 1273655, or even older, bug 588571. Simple fix: Format --> Discontinue Link (Ctrl+Shift+K)
