I'm not sure if we want to take the effort/risk of making any changes to this code, given Bug 1505924 is in progress to replace the about:addons UI (in which case this usage would presumably go away). What do you think?

This doesn't have anything to do with the add-ons UI, this is the dialog that appears when you click "Show Update History" in about:preferences
