[Affected versions]:

  • Firefox 64.0.2
  • Firefox 65.0b11
  • Nightly 66.0a1

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Windows 10 x64
  • macOS 10.13
  • Ubuntu 18.04 x64

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have the Recommended by Pocket section activated (browser.search.region is set to US in about:config).

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Dismiss all stories from the Recommended by Pocket section.
  • refresh the page a few times so that the sponsored articles are not displayed anymore.
  1. Restart browser.

[Expected results]:

  • The section is not populated.

[Actual results]:

  • The section is populated for about a second than everything disappears.

[Regression range]:

  • If this is a regression I will try to find as soon as possible a regression range.
Has Regression Range: --- → no
Flags: needinfo?(oana.botisan)

I can't seem to find the regression for this build, because on Ubuntu the builds somewhere between 2018-06-25 and 2019 don't want to open if I download them .
I can't use regression because every time I restart the browser, it updates and the results I get are not correct.

I will leave this need info on myself. I will to find if this is a regression soon.

I tried to reproduce the issue the latest Nightly 67.0a1 and beta 66.0b4, but I can't seem to manage to do that.
After that I tried to reproduce the issue on the build I first discovered the issue on, I couldn't reproduce it anymore. Considering all of these I will take out the flags for needinfo and regressionwindow-wanted.
