When I view a message that contains a line containing the text "--", all
following lines in the e-mail are displayed in grey. I assume that this is
because the text in question is assumed to be a signature, however this makes
the text difficult to read and:
1. There does not appear to be an option to change the colour used
2. There does not appear to be an option to switch this behaviour off
I, and I am sure many others, receive a number of regular e-mails that are
digests of mailing lists that I subscribe to. It is a quite common occurrence
in these e-mails for one message that contains a signature to be followed by an
entirely separate message, which in consequence of this problem is displayed
entirely in grey. My suggestion is either:
1. Stop highlighting signatures in this way, or provide an option to switch it
off, or
2. Stop the signature highlighting at any blank line, which should stop
subsequent messages from being highlighted.
