Reproducible: always:
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable menu bar
- Open History menu in the menu bar
- Middle click a history to open it in new tab
Actual results:
Fails to open the history. But open incorrect url like "place:sort=4&maxResults=15"
Expected results:
Should open the history in new tab

Gijs, can you weigh in on how hard it would be to fix that regression? Jonas is on PTO this week, he will be back early next week. If it's a longer fix, then potentially we have to backout the change from Bug 1523813. What's your take?

I don't think it should be super hard. We're using the wrong URL to try to open. We should fix the code in question to open the right URL.
Jonas is on PTO this week, he will be back early next week. If it's a longer fix, then
then we should think about uplifting. :-)

Marco, I think this is just because we missed the history places menu's special _onCommand implementation. I didn't find any other _onCommand implementations that I think would be affected, but it'd be useful if you can verify that is actually true. I did also do some spot-testing of the library panel, library window and sidebars, and they seem to be fine.

Verified fixed on Windows 7 x64, Windows 10 x64 and Ubuntu 18.04 x64 using Firefox 67 Beta 8 (buildID: 20190404130536).
