From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002052917 Every page i have encountered has this problem:when the Navigator window is launched and a page is loaded, i selecet "Page Source" from the View menu and the source code is out there. Every thing is OK. But if I change the character coding of the page source from the View menu(eg. western to simplified chinese)then all the source is invisible and though if i change the coding back(simplified chinese to western) the code is still invisible. I am using Mac OS 9.2.2 Simplified Chinese version. iMac DV SE Summer 2K. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open a web page(whatever you like) 2.in the menu bar: View===Page Source 3.After the Source code of this page is displayed, in the menu bar: View==Character Coding===(Now choose a diffrent coding, whatever you like, eg. from western to simplified chinese or something like that...) 4.Now the source code of the page is invisible(actually nothing, including the scroll bar) 5.Even if you change the Character Coding back to the original one, the source is still invisible, actually, you can only get it back by closing it and opening it again. Actual Results: Source code of anypage that you want to see is invisible until you close it and open it again. Expected Results: Change the font(s) of the source code and no matter what character coding is being used the source code should be visible, available. Though some characters such as those of simplified Chinsese may not be displayed correctly in Western coding, Mozilla should display something, no matter it is correct or not.

Confirmed on Linux too. Over to intl folks.
