User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
Switch between several files in Network analysis.
Actual results:
The preview is always open, the source view below.
Expected results:
I need (as most of the programmers) the source view in most cases. Is it possible to keep the part in its previous state or manage the behaviour in the settings? So when I close the preview it will be closed next time I select another file? Or simply change the position to the bottom?

Hei Wolfgang,
Will add this issue to the right component. I don't know any option in about:preferences (if there is any) that might help with this but developers will answer this better.

@Wolfgang: thanks for the report!
Can you please provide more details about what you want to improve on the Network panel?
The preview is always open, the source view below.
What do you mean by 'preview' and 'source view'?

Hi Honza,
for a better understanding I've uploaded an image of the situation to the following location:

I hope this can explain what I mean.
At least it would be simpler to split the two views into two tabs, as shown here:

Ah, I see thanks!

The problem is that there is already too many side panels and we should try hard
not to add new ones.
But I agree that the expanded state of the preview and source sections should be preserved.
I like that idea.
