Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

Enter Responsive Design Mode, and browse around.

Actual results:

Once every few pageloads, the view just doesn't update anymore. Everything continues to work in the 'background' - it's literally the screen that doesn't get updated anymore.

Expected results:

It should just continue to work.

Only workaround so far, is to exit and re-enter RDM. So effectly pressing Ctrl+Shift+M twice works around this issue.
For completeness sake: closing and re-opening the devtools also works around the issue, because it also exists and re-enters RDM.

Component: Untriaged → Responsive Design Mode
Product: Firefox → DevTools

Would you please try to reproduce this with either Beta 67 or Nightly 68? We had a bug land recently -- I'm still looking for it -- that sounds related to this and may resolve the issue.

Priority: -- → P3

I'd love to, but last time I tried the developer edition (nightly, I guess) it basically foobar'ed itself completely. I have another issue open for that. So I can't check.

I'd be nice if you can fix this in the branch where the problem actually occurs, so people don't have to wait 4 release cycles (24 weeks, is it?) for a seemingly mundane fix.
