User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
Steps to reproduce:
In Menu->Customize... set the theme to Dark, then opened a Private Window.
Actual results:
The in-page search bar in the Private Window's default page appears with a white background, despite Firefox's theme having been set to Dark. This is unlike the in-page search bar on the non-private New Tab page, which is given a gray background when Firefox's theme is set to Dark.
Expected results:
The colour scheme of the in-page search bar in a Private Window page should follow Firefox's current theme.

Not sure where we're tracking about:privatebrowsing theme issues, but to be clear, about:privatebrowsing is the page having the dark theme mismatch while about:newtab does use dark theme.

Back to Private Browsing then. I though about:privatebrowsing was a variant of about:newtab under the hood.

(In reply to Dão Gottwald [::dao] from comment #2)

I thought theme issues are tracked in Firefox::Theme? Do we file theme issues in components specific to where the theme issue happens to be in?

Firefox::Theme is mostly concerned with the main browser UI and resources shared across components. This page seems rather self-contained.
