Affected versions

Steps to reproduce

Prerequisites:

User is signed into sync

  1. Click on the avatar icon on the browser tool bar.
  2. Click on the manage account button

Expected result

  • The "Firefox Accounts" page is displayed without any delay.

Actual result

  • The "Firefox Accounts" page is displayed with delay.

I agree this is jarring, but it's not specific to the sync doorhanger; the same thing happens if you click 'manage account' from the sync preferences by opening those the "normal" way, also on older builds that don't have the sync doorhanger.

I followed the STR and the accounts page loaded like any other website. I didn't see any significant delays. Please let me know if there is more information that could be had in this bug (a screen recording would be good), but I'm going to close this assuming performance improvements in the past year have fixed it. Thanks
