Even after changing the "file name" to ...tar.bz2 and "file type" to "All files", the file still gets saved as ...tar.bz2.tar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Win2000 Professional SP2, download the above file. 2. 3. Actual Results: A ".tar" got appended to the file name. Expected Results: The file should have been saved with a name I have specified. Internet Explorer does the same thing.

if you want a filename to stick, use quotes around it. iow instead of: moodss-16.3.tar.bz2 use: "moodss-16.3.tar.bz2" the file is served as text/plain, complain to the site about that, it'd make things better.
