The recent spike in crashes are happening in GTK code, not the original reason for which this bug was filed. Martin, could this be a regression from the recent changes you made? This is a crash with a very good stack trace.

Hello Gabriele, it's dupe of Bug 1632481 which was caused by Bug 1628583.
