RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 266434

People

(Reporter: osdm, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3683.103 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Installed Thunderbird
  2. Entered a work e-mail (GMail-based)
  3. Logged in to Google Account in a window shown by Thunderbird

Optional steps (didn't help to resolve a problem). Tried disabling Lightning, restarting and removing/readding an account. Didn't work. Date-time of invitations changed again to the date-time of readding an account.

Actual results:

Thunderbird shows my e-mail Inbox, but all event invitations have a date-time changed to current date and time and are listed at the end of inbox together. Also, I get suggestions to accept/reject invitations, although they are two years old.

Expected results:

Date-time of all emails should stay as it was on a GMail server.

Seems to be fixed by setting "mailnews.customDBHeaders" to "Received" in config editor. According to various reports in internet, this bug seems to be at least 7 years old! Why is it still not fixed?
