User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

Show history in the sidebar. Right click to be able to open the site in a new tab.

Actual results:

Right click menu only allows you to choose a new tab or window. This means all history is opened in the same tab and cross-contamination can occur.

Expected results:

You should be able to choose to open in a specific multi account container just like right-clicking a link in an already open tab. (This doesn't require bug 1283320 to be fixed. I can remember which container I should use, usually.)

Type: defect → enhancement
Component: Untriaged → Bookmarks & History
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Priority: -- → P5
Summary: Can't open Firefox history directly into specific multi account container → Should be able to open bookmarks/history into specific containers

Correct me if I'm wrong but this has been implement for quite some time now. Should we close as fixed? (See attachment)

yes, I actually thought this was about always opening a bookmark into a specific container, but I was wrong according to comment 0.
