There is no GUI preference in Firefox Options/about:preferences to enable/disable User-initiated Picture in Picture for video like for example in Opera browser.

This preference could be added in Firefox Options/about:preferences under "General" tab ( about:preferences#general ) at "Browsing" section.

In Opera this feature it's called "Video Pop Out"

Hi Emanuela! Do we believe this feature should have a toggle in about:preferences like Opera?

This is how it looks in Opera Settings.

Vivaldi also has this feature, but it's not that discoverable as in Firefox and Opera, because Vivaldi users have to press right mouse button twice to overwrite website page context menu (if there is of course) to get custom Vivaldi context menu and select "Picture in picture" item.

I don't think feature should have a toggle in about:preferences. I like our current implementation, allowing end-users to hide just the label.
