Added a test to test the empty block (didn't submit to WPT because it's not
clear to me if the outlines of the two spans should form a single rect or not).

I haven't checked the spec(s), but I doubt such rendering details would be normative
so it's probably not something that should be asserted in a WPT. (I seem to recall
that the spec says "may" about it.)
