The core bug, http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155671 was checked in to the branch on 7/9. I think 2002-07-09-14-1.0 does not include the fix.

I can't reproduce using 20020715 WinXP build. There is a fix for another forwarding inline bug on WinXP (bug 156585), it was checked into the 20020711 build. Since I can't reproduce, my theory is that this fix also fixed your problem. Marina, can you try and reproduce on a later build?
