User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. my previous firefox session died (i.e. my laptop ran out of power)
  2. i started up and opened an application that has an external link (i.e. new software release with a link to release notes): i clicked on external link
  3. firefox opened and restored my previous session: i did not open the external link from step 2

Actual results:

firefox restored my crashed session but did not open the new requested link

Expected results:

firefox should have opened the requested link (whether it should restore the previous session or not is not the concern on this ticket)
