User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/75.0.3770.100 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I'm testing WebAuth on my MacBook with Touch ID which works properly in Chrome, but in Firefox it doesn't.
Actual results:
Firefox fires up a pop-up window telling that a %WEBSITE% wants to register an account, but nothing happens (see attachment)
Expected results:
A modal window asking for a device to use for register should appear

Hi Sergey,
I believe this is a duplicate of Bug 1536482
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue!

Just to give a little more flavor to this - Chrome has written a software token that uses TouchID -- there's no such software token provided by MacOS, so we'd need to (as Bug 1536482 says) make our software token production-ready, and then store its secret protected with TouchID. (Right now it stores on-disk in the NSS database).
Thanks for reporting! I'm hoping to make this a GSoC project in 2020.
