Details
In about:addons / Extensions (and possibly other areas) the top of an add-on description isn't always shown when asking for more details about an add-on.
Related: Viewing details of an add-on with a short description will reset the scroll bar in the all add-ons listing.
Steps to reproduce:
- Add enough add-ons so about:addons / Extensions has a scroll bar. Include at least one add-on with a long description.
- Click on the name of the add-on with a long description.
- Click the back arrow.
- Scroll down.
- Click on the name of the add-on with a long description.
- Click the back arrow.
- Click on the name of the add-on with a short description.
- Click the back arrow.
Expected:
-
The top of the description is shown.
-
The scroll bar for the add-on list is the same as before the add-on was clicked.
Actual:
-
The scroll bar from the add-on list is used so the top of the description isn't shown.
-
The add-on list is shown from the top, losing the user-set scroll bar position.
