Apparently you can list all search engines with just entering "@" into the search bar. This doesn't work for me with my normal Nightly profile, only after creating a new profile.
Actually entering search queries like @amazon does seem to work correctly.
I haven't been able to debug this fully but at least _addSearchEngineTokenAliasMatches
is called, as well as _addSearchEngineMatch
.

Which Firefox version?
Could you please attach a log from about:support, so we can check the value for some of the prefs.
Could you please also post a sshot of the search engines section in about:preferences / Search?

Oh, you are totally right, I had browser.urlbar.suggest.searches: false
removing this fixed it.
