Scrolling rapidly on https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17582796 gives me a 20W of gpu power with WebRender on and 10W with WebRender off.

I had a look at this again. WebRender vs non-WebRender wasn't a huge difference. We are quite a bit worse than Chrome and Safari though. 11-13W vs 6-7W

I'll close this then. Let's open new bugs specific to power usage vs chrome/safari.
