  • The issue is also reproducible in the following scenarios:
    • If you open the Firefox "Hamburger" menu.
    • If you click any of the menus from the Firefox Menu bar (File, Edit. View. history, Bookmarks, Tools and Help).
    • If you resize the browser.

[Affected Versions]:

  • Nightly 70.0a1

[Affected Platforms]

  • All Windows
  • All Mac
  • All Linux

[Prerequisites]

  • Have a Firefox profile with at least one saved login.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the latest Nightly browser with the profile from prerequisites.
  2. Navigate to "about:logins" page.
  3. Click the "three-dots-menu" at top right of the page.
  4. Click the Firefox hamburger menu.
  5. Click again the Firefox hamburger menu and observe the "three-dots-menu".

[Expected results]:

  • The "three-dots-menu" menu is dismissed.

[Actual results]:

  • The "three-dots-menu" menu is not dismissed.

[Notes]:

  • Attached a screen recording with the issue.
Priority: -- → P3

This behavior is intentional as the webpage (about:logins) has no access to the browser internals and doesn't know if the Firefox menu is opened.
