Details

Go to any web page. Hit the spacebar or Page Down key. The page scrolls down. Now scroll back up. Click in the URL bar. Type something. Click in whitespace in the browser window. Hit the spacebar or Page Down key again. The page does not scroll down. Now scroll down with the scroll bar or the mousewheel. Now scroll down with the space bar. Now it works. It looks like typing in URL bar without hitting enter stymies keyboard scrolling. Tested with Mozilla 1.1 trunk 2002071304 Windows 98. I can't find any dupes. Is this a regression?
This is probably a dup of bug 66834. Xah, when you click in the content area, is focus left in the address bar? Does clicking in the content area a second time work? Do you see an autocomplete widget disappear when you click the first time?
Yes. After I click in the content area, the drop down list disappears. Then, when I type something, the characters appear in the URL bar. The URL bar still has the focus. Feel free to mark as a duplicate as appropriate.
Dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 66834 ***
