Add an "empty folder" command for mail folders

It would be nice if there was a command to empty a local folder (instead of
having to select the mails and delete them).

I agree.. however, it's not that difficult to do a Ctrl+A -> Del :)

Yes, but for that, you have to select at least one message. And when the message
is evil html spam, some links are triggered which says to the spamer that you
mailbox exist, and that you have read the message.

All I want is an "Empty Junk" option, for the same reasons as Vincent. Not sure if it's necessary to have this option for every other folder. How often do you need to delete an entire folder of regular emails? Rarely enough that you can just use Ctrl+A.

I would like to have this option ("Empty folder <ThisFolderName>") for all folders. When there are lots of emails (like thousands) in a folder and/or you have slow connection to the server, it takes lots of time to fetch all message headers and then to select all emails with Ctrl+A. So I would like to do it from the folder context menu. Another bonus (if it is possible) would be if TB could fetch and delete the messages in chunks (lets say 100 messages at a time) in the background, so it would not need to fetch all the headers before deleting anything.
Thank you for fix this bug.

This feature would be as valuable today as 18 years ago.
