Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0

Steps to reproduce:

Right click on image. Menu says "email image". Clicked on email image.

Actual results:

Endless tabs open and continue to open. Even if you close browser it re-opens by itself and continues to load email windows. These windows are blank by the way. It does it in safe mode as well. I did a virus scan thinking I had gremlin inside. But no.

Expected results:

Dialog box should open with your choice of email in which you should be able to pick Gmail to attach image. Thats the way it was working before this last update.

This is Firefox Quantum ver. 69.0b15 (64bit) updated today. Beta channel.

I re-set Firefox today because I was getting the notice "Firefox seems to be loading slow" message at the bottom of the screen. The update came later and that's when I noticed it had gone crazy.

I can't reproduce this issue on Firefox 69.0b16 on Mac OS X 10.14 and on Windows 10 x64.

Could you please try to reproduce this issue on Firefox 69.0b16 using a fresh profile? You have the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Thanks.

Perhaps you have chosen to send email with firefox.exe, causing the loop, it is a bug.
