I have verified this issue on the latest Nightly 70.0a1 (2019-08-30) (64-bit) on Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 16.04 and Arch Linux 4.14. Here are the results:
- The issue is no longer reproducible on Arch Linux 4.14.
- The issue is still reproducible on Ubuntu versions. Attached a screenshot with the issue.
Considering this I will reopen the issue.

Hi Cosmin, once patches land we only reopen the bug if the patches were backed out. Can you please file a new bug for comment 4?

Ah, make sense. Sorry for reopening the issue.
However, I have verified this issue and is no longer reproducible on Arch Linux 4.14 using the latest Beta 70.0b3 and the latest Nightly 71.0a1 (2019-09-05) build. I have opened a new issue for Ubuntu versions in bug 1579108.
Considering this I will mark this issue as Verified-Fixed.
