http://mailredirect.netscape.com and http://webmail.aol.com Both redirect to: http://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?[...] Which renders as a blank page in my Mozilla (2002070808 Linux 1.1a+) I checked cookperm.txt for any netscape.com/aol.com permissions, but neither are listed. I enabled third party cookies, and JS r/w access to cookies. Both pages still don't work. View source won't even view the page source. I had to wget it to look at the JS. I manually added &mcState=initialized to the end of the URL which got me to the login page. After login, I got another blank page. The page's JS should at least tell me what the heck the error is, so I can configure my browser to work with the crappy JS on the page. I'm out of ideas.
AOL webmail WFM with Gecko/20020730 commercial branch on Win2K. Rafael - any known Linux issues?

The problem I see is that double clicking on a message opens a window with blank content, and switching to another tab (Read mail or Sent mail) doesn't work. I'm on trunk 7/29 (winxp), but I'm pretty sure I tried this on the branch at some point.
These work in a new profile. Not sure what setting of mine is affecting them, but there's obviously something Moz is capable of, that AOL isn't detecting and displaying a proper error message/page. That's why I put this in evangelism.
When switching tabs, I see: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Security error" code: "1000" nsresult: "0x805303e8 (NS_ERROR_DOM_SECURITY_ERR)" location: "http://webmail.aol.com/dig/script/1.1gzip_core.js Line: 7887"]
Switching tabs and reading mail works for me.
Okay, I guess this is trunk only then.
Despite both read and write access being checked in scripts and windows prefs, the two prefs: user_pref("capability.policy.default.HTMLDocument.cookie.get", "noAccess"); user_pref("capability.policy.default.HTMLDocument.cookie.set", "noAccess"); Were both still set. I would suggest AOL add some detection for failed cookie settings (cripes, check your return values people!), but it's eaither a current or past bug in the pref setting code of S&W. Able to log into NS webmail now. I don't have an AOL account, but going to webmail.aol.com redirects me a good 5-10 times, to a page that says Please return to the login screen and try again. Clicking the link redirects me another round of 5-10, then back to the same page. Boy do I hate JS. And cookies. My problem is INVALID. I'll see about filing a bug on S&W code if it still sets/unsets different prefs. This can remain open for the JS issue blake sees.
8 months later, the login page works for me in Moz 1.4a OSX. Please retest.
