When I reopen Firefox after a restart, I hear 5 YouTube videos start playing at once but cannot figure where they're coming from. Why, you might ask?
Well, I have several videos, paused, in minimized windows, each having only 1 tab. When Firefox restores, it considers those YouTube tabs active and loads (and autoplays) them, even though they're in minimized windows and can't be seen (especially with a hidden Dock). So the experience is a sudden cacophony with no obvious cause or solution. Very awkward during videoconferences. :-)
I suggest we treat all tabs of minimized windows as unloaded on restore, as we do with the inactive tabs of foreground windows. When the window gets unminimized, then let the tab load. This means no cacophonous surprises and probably a faster startup too.
