Steps to reproduce:
Open Today Pane and view events
Actual results:
Events pane shows empty and / or nonexistent events
Expected results:
Events pane should show correct events or nothing if there are no events to show

Which version of TB are you using with which version of Lightning. I'm using TB 68.1 pre-release and I see events in the "Upcoming (5 days)" section, alas, nothing on on Sunday ;-)
Can you try on a new profile, this is not a problem that has been reported before. TB 68 would be using Lightning 68 (internally still called 7.0).

This is a known but not yet fixed error in Lightning 7.0.
