Affected versions

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Access the chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul page.
  3. Click the Cancel button.

Expected result

  • With only one tab opened when clicking the "Cancel" button new tab page is opened.

Actual result

  • If only one tab is opened after clicking the "Cancel" button firefox closes.

Regression range

  • This issue is not a recent regression, I managed to reproduce the issue on Fx 68.0.2 and I will come with more details on the regression ASAP.

Additional notes
If the "Reset" button is clicked, a notifiction pup-up appears and after clicking the "OK" button firefox closes.

Bugbug thinks this bug is a regression, but please revert this change in case of error.

I'm fairly sure it has always worked this way.

This issue appears not to be a regression. It occurs ar far back as Nightly v36.0a1. I don't think there's any point into going even further back. NI me if further testing is needed. It was tested on Windows 10. Thank you for your contribution!
