People

(Reporter: wtds.trabalho, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

Link: https://www.zdnet.com/article/cloudflare-google-chrome-and-firefox-add-http3-support/

"Initial support was added in Chrome 29 and Opera 16, and in LiteSpeed servers. Chrome support expanded this month, but the bigger news is Cloudflare making the protocol generally available for its customers."

Please add way to activate QUIC and HTTP/3, by command line and about:config
And maybe set enabled by default in Nightly

Actual results:

No ways to activate or use HTTP/3

Expected results:

Full support for QUIC and HTTP/3 and ways to activate and test...

Thanks!

Hi Wellington,

I've chosen a component for this bug so that the developers may look at it. We'll await their answer. If you consider that there's another component that's more proper for this case you may change it.

Regards, Flor.

Dragana, don't we already have a bug for this?

Flags: needinfo?(dd.mozilla)

As soon as code lands, there will be an option in about:config to activate Http3.

We will enable it by default, when we fill comfortable with the code.
