Just a wishlist item here: it would be very nice if the Mozilla Mail reader could read mail from the /var/spool/mail/<username> and send via local sendmail. This would allow local mail to be handled without a POP or IMAP server in place. (I think Netscape Communicator might already do this...) In any case, it shouldn't be too hard to implement, when you get some free time. Thanks :-)
Mozilla can already use movemail, so it reads /var/spool/mail. Using sendmail is bug 93822. Resolving as dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 93822 ***
