Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 BuildID: 2002072203 When Edit/Preferences/Navigator/Helper Applications is selected, the dialog box cuts off a portion of the radio buttons at right. When a Mime type is selected in the text window, the buttons disappear completely due to the appearance of an icon in the left side of the box which "pushes" them out of the box altogether. Thus, this feature is rendered unusable. Same problem in Mozilla 1.0 and 1.1a. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select Edit/Preferences/Navigator/Helper Applications. 2. Look at dialog box. (already too small) 3. Select one of the Mime types. (icon appears at left; all buttons on right side of box disappear) Actual Results: As described above Expected Results: All of dialog box, including buttons, should be visible before and after selecting Mime text. This is not the only place in Mozilla where dialog boxes are too small horizontally. "Browse" around!
please search before filing, this was easy to find a search for: product: browser, component: preferences, summary: helper applications would have worked *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 138680 ***

Summary: Edit Preferences Navigator Helper Applications window too small in horizontal direction → Edit Preferences Navigator Helper Applications window too small in horizontal direction
timeless, It's easy to know what would have worked in "Search" AFTER you know what worked... "Product: Browser," "Component: User Interface," "Summary: Edit Preferences Navigator Helper Applications" did NOT work. So why isn't it fixed, since I had the problem back at v 1.0rc2? It is pretty major; you can't map file apps with this bug present. ---- Bill
