User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0

Steps to reproduce:

I was debugging an add-on using inspector and clicked on the drop down menu.

Actual results:

One of the displayed options overflowed.

Expected results:

That option should have been truncated.

Thanks for filing these bugs, but please note that these should be fixed in DevTools, there's nothing the localization can do, besides shortening the translation (and that should be the last resort).

It would be interesting to understand if this happens also in LTR layout.

Component: he / Hebrew → Inspector
Product: Mozilla Localizations → DevTools
Summary: Inspector: Text overflows in a drop down menu. → [RTL] Text overflows in drop down menu

Moving this to a more appropriate component within DevTools, and hopefully it will be triaged there.

Component: Inspector → Framework

Thanks for filing. Yes this also happens in LTR. The doorhanger seems to have a max-width that doesn't work with some languages (like French here).

Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Priority: -- → P3
Summary: [RTL] Text overflows in drop down menu → Text overflows in Browser/Addon Toolbox meatball menu
