User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0
Steps to reproduce:
Upgraded to Nightly 72.0a1 (2019-10-22) (64-bit).
Customization:
I have a search box AND a standard address bar, in this configuration:
[Address bar] [Search box]
Actual results:
There's an extraneous magnifying glass to the left of my address bar, and it is positioned unusually close to it. In the Customize view, it appears to be part of the address bar.
There's already a magnifying glass in my Search box; The user has explicitly opted out of "address bar is another search bar."

The direction of this is unclear, we'll wait for UX feedback. There is a bunch of future functionality that this button may unlock, for which it may be wiser to keep it, it would go well over simple searching. But it really depends on the direction UX takes.

This was by design and is part of the work in bug 1603165. This bug seems to boil down to don't show the urlbar magnifying glass if the search bar is visible. I'm not sure it's helpful to have a bug for that, but we can forward the feedback to the UX people.
