Verdi mentioned this during the meeting, it needs a spec.

When I click in the middle of the URL bar to edit it I would be annoyed if what I was looking at changed location.

Expanding the font but keeping the clicked location stationary would mostly address that, but could cause other issues (like the left of the URL being hidden to the left even when the full URL fits on the screen).

This doesn't even have a spec, it's too early to evaluate anything.

Due to expected complexities, we'll implement this as an experiment by putting it behind a pref.
