Steps to reproduce:

I went to about:addons and I clicked on the wheel at the top right. Then I clicked on Search for updates.
The ublock origin extension updating process was blocked on "Updating extensions" sentence.
I had to restart firefox to fix the issue.
Then the update was completed.

Actual results:

The ublock origin extension updating process was blocked on "Updating extensions" sentence.

Expected results:

The extension should have been updated without blocking the process.

Today, there was an update of Ublock origin (1.24.2 > 1.24.4) and the add-ons manager bugged when I made a manually update : it stays on "updating extension...." until I restarted the browser.

In case it matters, uBO prevents itself from being restarted upon update so as to insure no user data is lost. So the restart should occur when manually disabling/enabling the extension or when restarting the browser.

Nobody is interested by fixing this bug? Ublock origin is blocked while installing, and Firefox must be restarted in order to install the extension.

The only bug here is the lack of visual feedback. The duplicate is newer but it has more complete information.
