Details

This can be reproduced in OS X.

STR:

  1. Have two Firefox Nightly windows, plus another application open.
  2. Open a youtube page in one of the windows, and make it maximized by pressing the green button (which switches you into the full-screen desktop).
  3. Play the video and press the PiP button.
  4. Use Cmd+Tab to switch to another application (which would cause you to switch back to the non-full-screen desktop).
  5. Now the PiP window remains stuck on the full-screen desktop and you can't see it any more.
  6. Use the touchpad to swipe right to that desktop, and see the PiP window there.
  7. Now swipe back on the touchpad to the non-full-screen desktop. This time the PiP window moves back.
Component: Audio/Video → Video/Audio Controls

Ehsan, is this still reproducible for you? I followed the steps on MacOS but the PiP window now follows with the desktop (thanks to Mike).
