- Why is the change risky/not risky? (and alternatives if risky): This disables DirectComposition completely in 74. Since it's been on for most of the 74 cycle there's some risk that the non-DirectComposition could have regressed but that's unlikely. We also had DirectComposition turned off during a portion of the 75 cycle without issue.
