They suffer from the same issue as bug 1615026. The get clipped though, so my test passed :(

We were stroking the ellipse which strokes through the middle of the path,
meaning that it overflowed by one css pixel around the circle.

Not much, this is not enabled on desktop by default and this was causing only ~1px differences in rendering.
