I hate libnullplugin.so and so every time I reinstall Mozilla I have to delete
it. I would like a way to totally disable it. I think disabling plugins has come
up before and has never been implemented. If it will continue to stay
unimplemented, do the world a favor and remove libnullplugin.so permanently.

I hate libnullplugin.so because it don't want the functionality it provides. I
don't install flash. So everytime I go to http://www.amdmb.com/ with it I see
the puzzle piece icon where the flash would be. It used to pop-up with the
annoying dialog window too, but Redhat implemented a patch to get rid of the
dialog window.
I don't install flash because it is so often used for advertising and there
isn't a way to selective block flash. I can also live without the flashy
introductions to websites done in flash. It is also under Linux fairly buggy.
The only good use for flash I have seen is cartoons done in flash, but not
viewing them is a small price to pay for the rest of the problems with flash.

oh, the biggest problem can be avoided, if you mean that hang ;)
hm.. I guess this could end as a dup to the Plugin manager (?)

61103 is about the dialog. Redhat already uses a patch to disable the dialog. I
don't want the puzzle piece either, aka want the effect I get by removing the
plugin file without having to remove it since I doubt I can convince RedHat to
stop including it. If it can't get that behavior without removal, REMOVE IT.

This is a dup of the "plugin manager" RFE. That would allow you to disable
plugins on a case-by-case basis.
