I also observe thatproblem every now and then with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.2 beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20200222130008 (Default Classic Theme, newly created User Profile) on German WIN7 64bit.
I did not find an obvious DUP until now.

Without a sample mail this will probably not go far.

I know :-) All real world samples I have contain confidential info. It will take some time to provide a sample suitable for publishing.

I would be happy to supply a sample , only I do not know how.
I do not think a screenshot would help much

by the way the same message that I fail to forward, if I try to reply the body of the previous messages shows OK, I do that now as temporary solution.
Of course when there are attachment there is an issue...

Thanks for the eml.
This seems to be a duplicate of bug 394322. Fix unfortunately got dropped for the 2.53 codebase. Should be fixed in tomorrows 2.53.3 and final 2.53.2.

@frg:
Is there an indication in affected emails which can be seen by amateurs so that we can check ourselves ob our observations are concerning this particular problem or whether the same symptoms observed are caused by a different reason?

All affected emails seem to be generated by MS products. I only searched for possible duplicates because TB was affected too in the older version. The tags looked bogus but it would need someone with a better understanding of mail formats (or me to do some more reserach) to really say what was not ok. The problem with the sample mail should be fixed. If it still occurs in 2.53.2 I would need another sample.
